EBU252 - Electric bottom-up system

INTEGRATION
EBU252 can be connected to any conveyor and work together with EG20 and 1, 2 or 4 x PD12, PD22 or GD30I.

  • When EBU252 receives a start signal (from the gating system), the nozzles will move to the bottom of the containers
  • When the nozzles reach the bottom position, a start signal will be sent from EBU252 to the filling machine and the nozzles will start to move upwards
  • The nozzles will move to the top position when filling has been completed, and EBU252 will send a signal to the gating system to exchange the bottles
  • The nozzle bar is equipped with a security sensor, which will detect if the nozzles hit a bottle, a hand or another barrier during the downward movement. If the sensor is released, the nozzle bar will return to its top position.

TRANSPORT SPEED
This is a fixed speed with which the nozzles travel to the bottom position. The transport speed is also the speed with which the nozzles travel with from end of filling to the adjusted top position.The travel speed is higher than the filling speed. This is done to save time and generate maximum capacity.

FILLING SPEED
This is the speed with which the nozzles travel upwards from the bottom position and this speed is active as long as a filling is being performed. The speed must be set so the end of the filling nozzle follows the product level in the container, which is being filled.

BOTTOM DELAY
Adjustable delay from start of filler until the filling nozzle begins to travel up during the fill. To prevent foaming the delay should be set so the product reaches the end of the filling nozzle when the filling nozzle is still at the bottom position.
